Your hair is your crowning glory

Your hair is your crowning glory

I grew up in a beauty salon, and from the time that I could walk, I knew that hair was important. I watch my mom, press, curl, perm, straighten, and use that oh , so magical green bottle of S curl to activate the most luxurious curls on a man’s hair. Growing up ,all I knew was that your hair needed to be done and ready to go for the weekend, whatever that brought you. When I grew older, we moved to the Orange County area, where we found that length was everything! Layers and layers of hair extensions in blonde, platinum blonde and strawberry blonde were the most critical component of my mom’s business. I had come to find that I was a representation of my mom’s black beauty. Every time she did some radical hairstyle on my head and sent me to school, I could either be the laughingstock of the five year old class or the trendsetter in high school.  Now, as I embark on my own journey of hair, I find myself following in the pressing comb steam of my mother and loving hair. I can smell hair at times and let you know how long it probably will last and how you should take care of it. I thought everyone was privy to this information only to find out, it’s just a select few, we are the one percent of hair. As generations grow, people change the name of hairstyles that I’ve known her since the 1980s here I am with my own shop online and very proud to carry on my mom‘s legacy of hair. As she whines down from the industry and the business , I skillful carry the torch and sell hair extensions that are beautiful and amazing to me . Thank you for being along this journey with me and shopping for hair extensions, like I watched my mom do when I was five years old.
